Hickory Point News-Visitor Management System and Kindergarten Registration
Important Notice Regarding Visitor Management System
Please be advised that our visitor management system requires a government-issued photo ID for check-in. Currently, only physical government-issued IDs are compatible with the system. Digital IDs cannot be accepted. Please remember to bring your physical ID when visiting District 27 schools. Thank you for your cooperation!
Parent-Teacher Conference Sign-Up
Parent-teacher conferences will take place on February 11th and 12th. We are using SchoolCloud to sign up for conferences, which gives parents more control over their schedules. The conference sign-up system will open on January 20 at 9:00 am. Information about how to sign up for a conference with your child’s teachers will be emailed to you on January 20 at 8:00 am. The sign-up closes on February 6 at 4:00 pm. Contact your child’s teachers or the school office with any questions or concerns. Parent-teacher conferences are just one of the opportunities to talk about progress, and parents are welcome and encouraged to reach out to their child’s teacher(s) at any time during the school year. It’s truly through our collaborative efforts that our students achieve success.
Registration is Open for Incoming Kindergarten Students
Online kindergarten registration for the 2026-27 school year is open. Current District 27 families can register by signing into their Parent Portal, clicking “More,” and then “Online Registration.” Incoming families can register at www.nb27.org/registration. Please bring your child’s Birth Certificate and three Proofs of Residency to the Hickory Point Office at your earliest convenience. The student fee payment portal will not open until August 2026.
