Safety Week
District 27 will participate in its annual School Safety Week from October 20 to 24. This week is designed to build age-appropriate awareness, education, and connection around important safety topics. At Hickory Point, students will participate in lessons focused on playground safety, taking ownership of their behavior, and reporting any concerns to a trusted adult.
Community engagement officers from the Northbrook Police Department will visit our school to discuss personal and situational awareness with students. In addition, our transportation partner, North Shore Transit, encourages families to review these school bus safety tips. Thank you for your continued partnership in helping keep our community safe!
