Native American Heritage Month at Hickory Point
District 27 will recognize Native American Heritage Month from November 1 - 30. This is a time to recognize the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories and to acknowledge the important contributions of Native people. In addition to recognition displays in the building and morning announcements, students can access a menu of short learning options containing read-aloud books, videos, and interactive activities about Native American Heritage Month that they may choose to complete.
